They found my emails. Sniff Sniff

The Inspector General has found 30,000 of Lois Lerner’s emails from 2009 to 2011, which would encompass the entire time the IRS targeting of conservatives took place.  The suspicious thing is that the new IRS boss, John Koskinen told both congress and a federal court that he had not even tried to recover the emails because it was a lost cause.  The IG said that they found the emails among the “disaster recovery tapes” that are used to back up the IRS email system.  The IG said it took a couple of weeks and some forensic work to recover the emails.  Koskinen testified before the House Oversight Committee that it was futile to try to retrieve the emails because the vast amount of money and time needed to do the job.

But here’s the thing I find curious.  After all this time of changing stories, how did the emails finally get recovered and congress notified of their existence.  The answer could be in an old article I wrote.  At the time the IRS scandal broke it was just a short time after Benghazi.  It was suspicious because the scandal became known because the Obama administration announced it.  I wrote that the IRS scandal was meant to take the air out of the Benghazi investigation.  Now just as Obama is facing the heat for his unconstitutional amnesty for 5 million criminals.  And voila…..the emails are found.

Now, it could just be a coincident but after years of observing Obama, I realize almost nothing they do is coincidental.  I think the Oversight Committee should recall Koskinen and all the republican committee members should yield their time to Trey Gowdy.  Now that would be pay-per-view worthy.

The question now is will they recover the emails of the other principles in the IRS scandal and did the White House sort through the emails before they turn them over.  This administration would have no qualms in obstructing justice.  They’ve had enough practice.
