First Court Ruling on Obama Immigration Plan is a Loser for the White House 5.00/5 (100.00%) 2 votes

The White House has maintained that Obama can issue any executive order he likes and the courts can’t stop him.  But hold the boat!  The  Immigration Reform Law Institute IRLI)  sued the White House on behalf of displaced workers due to the expansion of a immigrant worker program that allows foreign students to take STEM (Science, technology, engineering and math)  jobs after graduation.  Did I mention that the expansion was not completed by an act of congress?  The White House asked for the case to be dismissed based on the lack of standing.  (A favorite ruse of this lawless White House)

Dale Wilcox, the executive director of the IRLI, was quoted as saying:

“The Obama administration and its congressional allies have repeatedly stated that they believed the president’s executive memos were immune from judicial review in federal court.”

Wilcox says the ruling proves that the liberals main argument is a lie.  (Obama lie??!!  You could have knocked me over with a Sherman tank)

The decision was rendered by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  The ruling comes one day after Obama announced he was going to greatly expand the program to the benefit of high dollar democratic donors and to the detriment of US workers.  What is significant about this decision is that it involves LEGAL immigrants, so what does that say about the illegal aliens?

Lawmakers are also concerned because the Obama administration has not kept track of these F-1 recipients and we have no idea where they are or who they are working for.  Which means we have no idea how badly they are undercutting wages of American citizens.

This ruking carries no penalties but it does allow workers to sue on the grounds that Obama’s actions are unconstitutional and unfairly displaces American workers.
